DAFEUS week 2019 in Nice

The second DAFEUS week took place in Nice from 29 May to 1 June 2019. The focus was on the debate on how democracy can work in federal or multi-level systems and on how the supposed democratic deficit of the EU can be overcome.

The DAFEUS week started with the DAFEUS policy lab entitled "The European Union’s crisis of legitimacy. How to make the Union more democratic" on 29 and 30 May. The lab served to discuss, assess and elaborate different reform proposals that seek to make the EU more democratic.
